New-Med's Brand New Rochester-Ochsner Forceps are helpful for clamping off blood vessels to avoid bleeding during procedures such as orthopedic surgery. In order to clamp vessels or grasp tissue, these forceps have 1x2 teeth on the tip of the serrated jaws. This "rat-tooth" can be described as one point on one end of the jaw that suits amongst two teeth on the end of the other jaw. These teeth can be functional for gripping dense tissue.
These Forceps comes in a variety of length sizes depending on surgical preferences.
